These are my favorite casper copycats...
4.- Timmy the timid ghost
Created in 1956 as an attemp to milk casper's popularity, timmy was a ghost with... a timid personality, yes the writeres werent original even at naming thiir ripoff, timmy looked like casper if if was a cartoon form the 30's, this copycats was one of first characters that tried to copy casper and one of the most successful since this comic book series ran from 1956 to 1971.
3.-Super spook
From Ajax comics, also known as Mighty ghost, the series follows the adventures of a ghost boy with superpowers. it is basically what would happen if superman and casper had a baby, this series only ran for a few issues before ajax created an even more original characters that will appear next on the list.
2.- Spunky the smiling spook
Published by the same original autors behind Super pook, spunky is casper's lost twin brother, a little friendly ghost, just like casper, even they look so alike, if someone removes the titile I could mistake this book for a casper comic, but unlike casper spunky had a little more mischievous personality, which resembles Spooky, caspers cousin wih a suspecius similar name,
1.- Homer the happy Ghost.
So far we have seen many shameless ripoffs, so maybe you wonder... how can anyone beat spunky? Obviously you never heard of Homer the Happy ghost, it was a really special cause since it was created by Atlas comic nowadays known as Marvel comics, even the Legenday Stan lee wrote most of its stories, So I am sure he would become a member of the avengers in the marvel cinemetic universe, ok that is not likely, but Homer beats Spunky because even he has His own version of Spooky, renamed Dungan the dead end Ghost (see the picture above)
